USA Shuai Jiao East Coast Regionals

The First Annual East Coast Shuai Jiao Regional Tournament.  Hosted by Shuai Jiao Evolution and sponsored by USA Shuai Jiao (USSA).  

WAIVER: By registering for this event online, I am voluntarily participating in the year 2020, the First Annual USA Shuai Jiao East Coast Regionals. The tournament administrators cannot hold the responsibility for any illness, or injury sustained as result of participating in the games, attending the games or traveling to or from the games. I hereby agree that the games or its administrators shall not hold or be liable for any such illness or injury. 

Day of Registration / Weigh Ins: 8:00am-9:30am

Opening Ceremonies: 10:00am

Competition Begins Promptly at 10:30am

Spectators: $10.00

Competitors: $50.00 pre-registration / $70.00 for day of registration

  Registration includes both Gi (Jacket) and No-Gi (No-Jacket) events.  No discount for competing in only one event.   

Uniform Requirements

Gi / Jacket Division: Shuai Jiao Jackets will be available for purchase on site for $80.00 per but supplies are limited.  Otherwise we strongly recommend purchasing in advance:  https://www.dragonsports.eu/en/51158-chinese-wrestling-vest-2-shuai-jiao-100-cotton.html.  

Required Attire - GI / JACKET Division:

• Shuai Jiao Jacket
• Long sweat pants (no pockets preferred)
• Wrestling boots or barefoot

Required Attire - NO-Gi / NO-JACKET Division:

• Long sleeve rash guard
• Shorts or sweat pants (no pockets preferred)
• Wrestling boots or barefoot

Hygiene and Insurance

• All competitors must bring proof of health insurance on the day of the tournament
• All competitors must ensure that all toe and finger nails are properly cut and filed down
